Green Olive Smoking Chunks Apple
Our apple wood chunks are small pieces (4-10cm) crafted using waste wood pruning harvested from orchards. Applewood imparts a mild, sweet fruity smoke flavour to the foods you are cooking on your BBQ Grill. Applewood complement to game, fish, and beef but are perfect for pork and poultry. Try mixing them with our whiskey oak smokin’ wood chunks for amazing results.
Add some wood chunks over your coals or use on their own for that original wood BBQ with a prolonged wood smokin’. They will infuse the food and enhance the flavours, as it’s all about the flavour. By using our apple wood chunks for smoking, it gives your BBQ or Smokin’ food a decent flavour with a mild fruity flavour. Applewood compliments most meat, fish and vegetables but works really well with sausages, chicken and hams.
To use our wood smoking chunks, you can choose to first soak them for at least 30 minutes or use dry. If wet then be sure to let the wood drip dry for a few minutes before adding it to the fire, you want the wood to be moist, not dripping wet. Next, add our Chunks to your coals or use on their own for that original wood BBQ with a prolonged wood smokin’. They will infuse the food and enhance the flavours.
