Petromax Cast Iron Potato Cooker - 1.8 Litre
If there is a better way to cook beautiful potatoes than in hot embers we've never heard about it! The Petromax Cast Iron Potato Cooker is not just for Potatoes though, it is perfect for stuffed peppers or aubergines or any culinary creations you wish to experiment with.
Cast Iron is most suited for live fire cooking with its ability to distribute heat and retain it evenly. The Potato Cooker has an innovative tilt lock mechanism, hooking the lower end of the latch enables you to open the Potato Cooker ready for serving. Hooking the upper end of the latch allows the Cooker to be lifted out of the embers, while firmly locking the lid closed.
The ridges running along the lid and bottom of the Potato cooker keep the device stable in the fire, the ridges on the lid also come in handy to keep embers placed on top of the cooker from moving. The Potato Cooker is also safe for use in your oven at home so you can enjoy rustic potato dishes even when not around a camp fire.
